UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT 214915

Description: Unidentified iron object, probably post medieval in date, consisting of a circular-sectioned bar c.7mm in diameter with globular ends, the least corroded one of which is 11.4mm in diameter. At the centre of the bar, which is bending slightly upwards, is a triangular projection with a piercing at the centre, 6-7mm in diameter. The trinagular projection stands 15mm above the bar. Much of the surface is obscured by iron corrosion. Post medieval in date, possibly post-1700. The object is 91.4mm long and weighs 43.64g.
