Description: A medieval silver-gilt finger-ring. The surface is worn but the simple geometric engraved decoration on the ridged bezel continues onto the shoulders with some sprigs of foliage. The back of the hoop is circular with deeper engraved diagonal lines arranged in pairs. This type of ring is known as iconographic. Date: 15th - 16th century Diameter of hoop 25mm.
