BUCKLE 135822

Description: Incomplete medieval copper alloy double oval buckle frame, missing almost all of one loop. Its incomplete length is 26.2mm, its width is 30.5mm and it weighs 5.36g. Internal dimensions of the surviving loop are 11.8x23.7mm. The outside edge of the surviving loop has a restriction for the pin with some iron corrosion around it. Just below is what appears to be another constriction, but is probably actually damage. 14th century in date.
