BELL 134565
Description: Incomplete post medieval copper alloy crotal bell, missing just under half of one side.
It is 29mm in diameter and 38mm high from top of loop to bottom of bell. It weighs 17.32g.
The upper hemisphere of the bell is apparantly plain, the lower has incised decoration with a panel flanking the (now broken) slit. This panel is filled with radiating leaves or petals.
The upper hemisphere has one remaining hole 6mm in diameter, and presumably originally had two. The loop is rather square in shape with a 2mm diameter circular perforation.
