Description: Copper alloy composite strap-end with sheet spacer occupying the whole width. The upper and lower sheets are generally rectangular, tapering at the terminal to a point. The attachment end of both plates is missing and the edges are badly damaged. The sheet spacer is visible between the two sheets extending to approximately two-thirds of the surviving length of the strap-end. There is a single rivet hole in the centre of the object close to the terminal retaining the remains of the copper alloy rivet, securing the plates and spacer together. The plates expand away from one another from where the spacer terminates.
