Description: A heavily abraded cast copper alloy fragment comprising a portion of the lower hemisphere of a large cast copper alloy livestock ("crotal") bell of post medieval date. The fragment retains one edge of the lower sound hole. The surface is badly corroded, but traces of radial line decoration is evident. No founder's marks are visible.
