FLAKE 1055291

Description: A Lower Palaeolithic flake. Both the thick striking platform and the bulb of percussion are clearly evident. The distal end of the dorsal face has recent shattered edges. The ventral face has six removal scars, with a seventh removal on the left edge (looking at the ventral face), and a patch of cortex at the distal end. Water worn. Orange/beige chert.
