Description: A copper alloy weight of medieval or post medieval date (c.1400-1700). Circular plan with a recess suggesting it is part of a stacking set. The top surface is plain (21mm) and the edges flare slightly outwards so the base is slightly wider (24.2mm) than the rim. The underside is recessed, with a flat lip 3.1mm wide. To one edge of the underside is a small incised circle (1.5mm diam). The item has not been cleaned and the surfaces are obscured by soil.
