Description: A fragment of copper alloy, probably the leg from a cast vessel of late medieval or post medieval date (c.AD 1400-1700). The fragment is sub-rectangular in shape, with both ends angled in the same direction. One of these is rounded to form the vessel foot. The other end retains scars from where it originally joined the vessel body. The section is rectangular, with a slight inward curve. There is no surviving evidence of ribs or decorative elements due its poor condition, but it seems a more simple version than those recorded in Butler, Green & Payne's 2009 FRG datasheet.
