BROOCH 101225

Description: A copper-alloy Early Medieval disc brooch dating from the 6th century AD. It is decorated with five ring-and-dot motifs on the upper surface; one is at the centre and the other four are arranged at regular intervals around it. Single pin bar lug and catchplate on reverse Very worn but complete. It has a diameter of 38.6mm, a thickness of 2.1mm and weighs 16.85g.
