Description:
New house built on land owned by the Morant family. For sale in 1915, it was occupied 1923-7 by Samuel Gurney-Dixon (1878-1970), 'a country doctor... invalided out of the war due to mustard gas'. Gurney-Dixon had been living at Whitley Ridge in 1920, and moved to Winchester before 1930.
