Description: 73.1 Instrument, surveying, 'Theodolite'. Green painted body attached via four allen bolts to case base. With attached rectangular white metal makers plate, having stamped/engraved trade mark and words in black lettering: 'Hilger & Watts'; also 'ST156-4'; underlined and over '244453'; also 'Made In England'. 73.2 Case, base for 73.1. Rectangular green painted [cast aluminium] base, with two attached white coloured metal catch-plates, and recessed channel for rubber seal. Also triangular shaped white coloured metal makers plate with words: 'Hilger & Watts Ltd, 98 St Pancras Way, London, England'. 73.3 Case, lid for item 73.1. Rectangular green painted [steel], with two attached white coloured metal, draw-hook tension hasp closure fittings at each end. Also with leather carry strap attached to hasps, and passing through two integral loops of the lid. Yellow coloured [service] label dated 30.09.1988 attached to underside of lid, with company details: 'Hall and Watts Optronics Ltd, Unit 9, Fosters Business Park, Old School Road, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 9NY.
