TNA SC 8/188/9387
Author: York, Edward, Duke of
Description: Edward, Duke of York, requests pardon of all the issues from the manor and park of Lyndhurst and the hundred of Redbridge, as well as a rent paid by the Abbot of Reading, for the period from 13 May 20 Richard II, when he was granted the keepership of the New Forest. He had this grant in the same terms as the late Earl of Kent, but the Exchequer is now demanding accounts for these issues, since they were not specified in the letters, despite the fact that both the Earl and the Duke had them to their own use.
