Description: Image of mathematical tiles from the Prudential building with a caption reading 'Originally yellow in colour having been painted in recent years. On this building they were nailed direct to the brickwork, usually they are nailed to timber battens. It is believed they were attached in 1801 to give the building a distinctive appearance for the opening of Stephen Tunks Ringwood and Hampshire Bank. Three buildings in Ringwood are clad with mathematical tiles, two of which are in the Market Place.'
