The Lymington Laundry

Description: The Lymington Laundry, opposite the town quay. This was originally built as a theatre and place of entertainment. The laundry had many rows of washing lines at the rear to dry the clothing. There were approximately 50 employees. In later times the site was used as an engineering works.
