In 1805 the property comprised a freehold capital messuage with barn, dovehouse, stable and large garden of about 2a called Inworths, and freehold and copyhold land in Hythe Field. By 1843 the house was known as Egham House and a school room had been built on part of the land. By 1849 a messuage, granary, stable and cowshed had been built on the site of the barn, dovehouse and stable referred to in 1805.
