Description: Giving him authority to receive rents and 'ferms' (Fixed payments.) in RYE and without, due from Stoghtone's tenants and especially 12s. 4d. from John Sutton, which Stoghtone had allowed him for repair of his tenements, which repairs have not been carried out, as is said. Seal, on tongue, a mermaid.
