Description: 2883 Squadron RAF Regiment (later 2853 Squadron). Formed at Maghaberry (Antrim) in April 1942 and disbanded in March 1943. Reappeared at Feltwell in March 1944, then moved to Lymington (Hampshire) and other UK stations including Portreath (Cornwall) and Gatwick (Surrey). Moved to Germany and based at various locations including Traben-Trarbach and Bad Godesberg.
