Littlecotes farm. 10 June 1599 Assignment of lease for life in reversion (1) John Penny of Broad Chalke, yeo., and Ralph Penny, one of his sons. (2) Thomas Penny, another of his sons. Dwelling house called Littlecotes Farm house, with outhouses, closes and pieces of land. 28 May 1630 Lease for 30 years. (1) Edward Warner of London, Doctor of Physic and Sarah his wife. (2) Bennett Swaine of Milford, gent. Littlecotes farm. 26 June 1662 Memorandum of agreement for payment for repairs, Jeremiah Cray of Ibsley, Hants. Esq. and John Combe of Broad Chalk, mercer. Dwelling-house belonging to Redishes Farm: Cray to pay £9 more for the reparations than was allowed when Combe took the house of him, and also £12 more for the wainscot and floor in the parlour and the floor over the shop and also a 'Lid-pump' - Combe having done all this himself at the cost of £21. Three abstracts of title to Reddishes Farm - in one, the deeds abstracted date from 1696-1803; a second is an abstract of the marriage settlement of Jeremiah Cray and Miss Colbrook, 3 and 4 Sept. 1746; the third is dated 1818 and deeds abstracted are all dated 1806.
