Assignment of a bond

Description: George Cooper of the parish of St. Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex, gent, to William Rhodes of Lotherton, par. Sherburn, Yorks, gent. Reciting a previous bond of 9 Jan 1722, by which Spencer, Burley and Wilson were bound to Cooper in £2,000 to repay £1,000, and that £500 is still outstanding on this bond. Therefore, in return for £500 paid by Rhodes, Cooper assigns the bond to him, making him his attorney in this matter.
