Description: This volume gives an account of how evacuated children from London were received 3 days before the Official Declaration of War. The school was closed on June 21 1940 on evacuation of the pupils to Cemaes, Pembrokeshire (Dyfed). The next entries are for the period Jan - Mar 1942 when a log was kept for children remaining in Hythe and attending school there
