Description: From (a) John Hamond of Ashurst, yeo. to (b) Thomas Ested, late of [ ? West] Chiltington, now of Pulborough, yeo. 1 croft of land called the Leme (5a.) with 1 other croft of land called the Farther Leme (7a.), 1 croft called the Ground Lane (1a.), and crofts called Horse Croft (10a.), Calvescroft Lagg (1a.), Calves Croft (5a), parcel of meadow ground called Abbott Meade (3a) all of which are part of Cradocks and Brewers Farm (in all 32a.) in Ashurst. Recites mortgage of the property dated 13 June 1685. Now (a) assigns the mortgage to (b) for the remainder of the term with a proviso for the repayment of £317 15s. on 2 June 1690.
