Description: Details of a visit to Hyde Socialist Church the previous Sunday. The article said Margaret McMillan was known the world over for her educational work, and visited Hyde to give a lecture. In her talk, she explained "...her open-air and natural system of educating children under the best circumstances". She emphasised how the children were cared for with 3 meals a day, physical exercise and teaching of science and art. She made an appeal for widescale adoption of the nursery school system
