Release of legacies

Description: By Mary Greaves of Princess St., Drury Lane, co. Middlesex, spinster, and appointment of attorney. By the indenture of 11th December, 1781, Mary Greaves appoints her brother Thomas Greaves of Ringwood, Hants., vintner, as her attorney in matters concerning her legacy from Samuel Broughton. By the indenture of 10th January 1782, which recites the will of Samuel Broughton, and that Richard Cooper and Joseph Townsend have been vested with the fee simple of Broughton's lands, Mary Greaves acknowledged that she received the legacy due from Cooper and Townsend.
