Description: (a) Of Simon Cromp of Newington next Hythe, labourer, that John Deal of Newington, labourer, had offered him 40s. to be a witness for him in a case of obtaining repayment of money owed 21 April 1691 (b) Of Mary, wife of Edmund Hayward of Newington next Hythe, yeoman, reporting a conversation with John Deal in which he told her he had lent £20 to Hamon on the top of the hill without any bond or witness 21 April 1691 (c) Of Richard Streeting of Newington next Hythe, covenant servant, stating that John Deal had asked him to be a witness in a case of obtaining repayment of money and offered him money to do so. 21 April 1691
