Description: Epitome of title relating to Goldington Green, Bedford and (attached) photocopy(1948-1952) deeds beginning with a Conveyance dated 10 Dec 1948 from James Smith of Lincolns Inn, Solicitor, Archibald Buchanan Keith of Halyards, Kilvernell Rd., Milford-on-Sea (Southampton) and Douglas Arthur Polhill of Oakhaven, 48 Brighton Rd., Crawley (Sussex), clerk, (trustees) to the Borough of Bedford, for £10, of a piece or parcel of land formerly in Goldington but now in Bedford situate on both sides of Goldington Rd. and known as Goldington Green with all mineral and sporting rights and all rights of common (appendant, appurtenant or in gross) subject to subsisting public and private rights. Deed dated 5 March 1952 whereby the Borough granted Eastern Gas Board the right to lay and maintain gas mains in and under part of the land (in connection with the extension of the main to supply Goldington Green School).
