Deed of feoffment

Description: By JOHN HIDE of SUMPTING, yeoman, to EDWARD HILL of Shipley, yeoman - for £445 - of messuages, barns, buildings, lands and tenements in Westgrinsted and Ashurst called Goreland containing 50 acres; which premises descended to the said John Hide as son and heir of Edward Hide his father decd., son and heir of William Hide, grandfather to the said John, and which William Hide purchased of John Woolvin of Westgrinsted, yeoman Signature, John Hide, seal gone.
