Description: PARTIES: George Freeman of Steeple Aston, doctor in Divinity SUBJECT OF TRANSACTION: All debts to be paid out of estates hereinafter mentioned and out of all sums of money owing to the testator on any security (with named exceptions) at his death. Charles Leader and Lionel Lampet are to deal with such debts, and the funeral expenses If both George Malim and John Davis die before the age of 21, then freehold to the next son of Thomas Malim and John Davis the father etc. To Charles Leader and Lionel Lampet: impropriate tithes and estates in Bloxham and Milcombe which the testator holds by a Lease from Eton College for 10 years to hold upon trust and to assign to George Malim and John Davis upon the conditions set out for the testator's freehold estates and subject to the same payment of £500 Above property subject to yearly salary of £5 which the testator gives to the Vicar and churchwardens of Bloxham payable quarterly and to be used for the education of 12 poor children of the parish of Bloxham, to be chosen by the Minister and churchwardens Charles Leader and Lionel Lampet are to pay the testaor's wife, Mary Freeman the annual rent charge of £80 out of the above estates in equal portions quarterly and she has the right of distraint. Charles Leader and Lionel Lampet are also to pay out of the above estates: To niece Anne Barret: £200 payable within 4 years of the testator's death To Charles Leader and Lionel Lampet: messuage homestall and 1 yardland with appurts. in the town fields of Milcombe 3. cottages with appurts in Steeple Aston now held by Anthony Hawting, Thomas Freeman and Thomas Harris All other estates of the testator in Milcombe and Steeple Aston to hold for 1,000 years upon trust Freehold of the above property to grt.nephews, George Malim, son of Thomas Malim of Doncaster, Yorks, apothecary and John Davis, son of John Davis of Steeple Aston, grazier and their heirs If George Malim dies before the age of 21, then whole freehold to John Dawes and his heirs subject to a payment of £500 to all the children of Thomas Malim by Anne his now wife, payable within 4 years of the death of George Malim and only payable after the death of the testator's wife Mary Freeman and after the payment of all the debts of the testator If John Davis dies before the age of 21, then whole freehold to George Malim and his heirs, subject to a payment of £500 to all the children of John Davis the father by Elizabeth, his now wife, payable within 4.years of the death of John Davis the son, and only payable after the death of the testator's wife and after payment of all his debts To Charles Leader and Lionel Lampet: £20 each To nephew John Freeman: £200 due to the testator on a bond, but half the interest on the bond to Sarah, wife of William Pasley of Wentworth, Yorks and the other half to John Freeman To 3 heires, Sarah Pasley, Ann wife of Thomas Malim, and Elizabeth, wife of John Dawes equally: £100 due to the testator from Thomas Malim To George Malim and John Davis: all the books from the testator's best study For a monument to the wife of the testator: £30 maximum To vicar and churchwardens of Bloxham: £5p.a.
