Description: From: Robert Winchelsey, archbishop of Canterbury To: Berardus de Got, bishop of Albano; Simon of Beaulieu, bishop of Palestrina Concerning the consecration of Walter de Langeton', bishop-elect of Coventry and Lichfield. He can not give consent for him to be consecrated abroad without consulting the chapter of the cathedral priory. Endorsed with description in contemporary hand. Described as a transcription of the letter sent to the cardinals. Given at South Malling [Sussex].
