Indenture

Description: Feoffment upon trust that rents, issues etc. be applied to use of poor of Sloley with intention of maintaining the intention of John Keteringham of Sloley carpenter, deceased, the donor. 1) William Parmenter of Sloley, gent., Samuell Dike of the same and John Burley of the same, yeoman. 2) William Parmenter son of said William Parmenter, John Wilgresse of Sloley, Joseph Wilgresse, Christopher Burley and Edmond Burley. Four pieces of land with messuage lately built thereon in Sloley and Scottow whereof first piece with messuage thereon in Sloley nigh the land of John Wilgress on west part and common pasture of Sloley on east part and abbutts upon the lands of John Wilgres towards the north and upon a certain way towards the south and contains half an acre. The second piece in Sloley nigh the land of John Wilgress on the east part and the land of John Wilgress in part and a certain path called Church path in part of the west part and abbutts the lands of John Wilgress on the north part and upon a certain path called Church path towards the south and contains one acre 3 roods. The third piece is inclosed and lieth in Scottow nigh the land of Thomas Le Grosse on the north part and the lands of John Ebowe on the south and abbutts the land of Robert Row towards the east and upon the lands of diverse men towards the west and contains by estimation one acre. The fourth piece lieth in Scottow in open fields there nigh the land of the said John Burley the elder on the north and the land of John Burley on the south and abbutts upon the puralee way of Sloley on the east and upon a certain path towards the west and contains by estimation 3 roods.
