Arthur Bevington Gillett of 102 Banbury Rd, Oxford, banker 3. Sarah Beatrice Gillett, wife of 2b. SUBJECT OF TRANSACTION: Recites that 1. as executor of William Gillett decd. purchased two bills of £5,000 of the Manchester Corporation to be held by 2. for the charitable purposes here declared Now it is agreed: 1. The money before referred to and other sums representing it shall be called 'The Trust Fund' 2.2. shall hold the 'Trust Fund' subject to the provisions laid down here 3.2 may convert the investments into money and may invest the money in any legal investment or in Treasury or Bank of England Bonds at their own discretion 4.2. shall apply the income from the Trust Fund to the relief of the poor in Banbury or within a radius of 10 miles of Banbury Cross The relief of the poor shall include the assistance of persons suffering from illness, old age, accident or any other incapacity and relief may be given in money or in kind; it shall include the donation of assistance to any hospital, home, infirmary or society; and it shall also include the maintenance, education, training or apprenticeship of any person intending to enter any business, trade or occupation 5.2. shall apply the money as 3. shall direct 6.2. may after 1 July 1931 transfer any part of the capital of the Trust Fund to any body established within 10 miles of Banbury by way of capital endowment for the relief of poor people 7.2. may delegate their authority to any person or body 8.
