Description: sitefind, complete Roman indented beaker, new forest ware, found at courtyard villa site,At Lodge Farm two buildings round a courtyard were revealed in 1929-30. The bathhouse had been converted from a small dwelling, the larger house had a hypocaust and painted wall plaster, but seems later to have been a barn-like hall with lath and plaster partitions, perhaps used as domestic quarters for servants.
