Description: Complete bronze looped socketed axe. Straight sides expanding out very slightly at straight blade. Sub-square-sectioned mouth with rounded corners. Prominent collar at mouth with no moulding below, Upper edge of socket is even. A well-cast and finished axe. L: 121 W. mouth: 37.5 B. mouth: 40.5 Socket dims.: 25.5 x 29 W. loop: 7. Part of a hoard of 68 Armorican socketed axeheads.
