Description: Folios 76-77. Letter from Francis Crowdy of East Ilsley [Berkshire] to the Home Office reporting an extensive incendiary fire on the 7 November on the property of Mr Taylor at Eling, Hampstead Norris [Berkshire], which destroyed agricultural produce and buildings to the value of £1000. A reward of £100 is to be offered for information leading to a conviction. Crowdy requests the offer of a reward and pardon from the government to any accomplice giving evidence leading to a conviction.
