Description: Commissioner Henry Greenhill, Portsmouth Yard. Receipt of letter for the Master Attendant and Master Shipwright to view the ground at Itchenor and Cobbish Point in Chichester river and sends an account of whether one or two 50 or 70 gun ships can be built there, a warrant for receiving the broom faggots supplied by Mr. Hack, the Seventh Son and the Laurel storeships are here bound to Cadiz. Captain Urry in the David and John ketch is still idle for want of men, awaiting orders. Yesterday Captain Cleasby of the Sapphire in a rude manner came to see him about why his officers were not supplied and details are given. Encloses a report from the Master Shipwright and Master Attendant about the ground at Buckler's Hard in the River Beaulieu (not now attached).
