Description: Folios 467-469. To: The Local Government Act Office. From: George Bailey, Clerk to the Luton Local Board, Luton [Bedfordshire]. Subject Matter: Letter in reply to a letter of the 27 March 1865 in reply to Bailey's of the 25 relative to the filling up of vacancies occurring in the Luton Local Board. Bailey raises various questions on this matter, and asks for an early reply as the Board are limited to one month to complete the election caused by the 2 retiring members, as he considers that the letter of the 27 March does not appear very decided or touch on the questions raised.
