Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter of the 4 January 1853. In reply the Board provide procedural guidance on the questions raised regarding the settlement of disputes from owners of private land under section 69 and to the recovery of expenses where after giving the surveyor power to ascertain them in the legal section; it also appears to give the Justices similar power under section 129.
