Description: Folio 392: Richard Hale, Clerk of the Cheque, Sheerness. His recent application for the retention of a third Clerk was granted by the Board with the proviso that it would end at Christmas, unless the workload of the office increased. Gives reasons for believing it has increased and as Mr Daniell, the Storekeeper, has been allowed to retain his Clerk, asks permission to retain his third Clerk.
