Description: Enclosure in folio 78. Owen Sutherland, Purveyor. Endeavoured with the Master Surveyor to close the indentures for forest timber for part of 1720 in order that the same may go with my accounts. The surveyor being at Lyndhurst refuses to sign the said indentures giving his reasons in the letter enclosed. Sutherland requests his accounts are accepted by the Navy Board currently at the Comptroller's Office.
