Description: Folios 79-81. To: Home Secretary. From: F Drinkwater, Hyde, [Cheshire]. A letter and a copy of the same letter [made by the Local Government Act Office]. Drinkwater says he was surprised to hear that Hyde was an ecclesiastical parish in its own right, not being aware of this designation. Drinkwater is of the opinion that Hyde should in fact be considered a district of the Parish of Stockport.
