Description: Folio 740. To: The Local Government Act Office. From: William Pickrell, Burnham, [Burnham on Sea, Somerset]. Letter requesting a copy of the local board's reply to the General Board regarding the points raised in his letter of 4 August. At a meeting of the board at which the chairman proposed to suspend the clerk, he was outvoted by three members, and, at a subsequent meeting, the same three members wanted to make a public example of Mr Pickrell for writing his letter.
