Description: Mr. Sutherland, Lyndhurst. Provides details of the abuses to some of the timber in the New Forrest in conjunction with Mr. Fellows, the Surveyor, and denies a delay in reporting the damage. Undertakes to prevent and detect such abuses and on any discovery will give timely notice to the Officers of the Forest. Has made an application to the Justice of the Peace, Lord Delawarr who has promised his warrant and who will search such Acts of Parliament in order to strengthen his authority to act against abuses.
