Description: A possible fragment of a Roman copper alloy bracelet, probably dating to c. AD 250-410. The fragment consists of an undecorated strip of cooper alloy with a plano-convex cross section and a slight bend when viewed in profile. Dimensions: Overall length 50.28mm; width 5.38mm; thickness c2.mm weight 2.79g. It is difficult to parallel such an undiagnostic object, however the patina and quantity of Roman material recovered in the vicinity are suggestive of a similar date.
