Avon Castle Estate

Thought to have been built by John Mills of Bisterne at a cost of £80,000 (see Avon Castle web site, not verified). Run as a hotel by John Turner-Turner who bought it in 1873. It is unlikely that the Turner-Turners were buried there because Turner-Turner did not die until 1938, in Newton Abbot.
