Description: Thomas Bramairiden of Cawthorne, Yorks., butcher, is bound to Thomas Fawley of Cawthorne, Yorks., yeoman, and Benjamin Turton of Cawthorne, in £10. Reciting that Bramainden has built a shop on Cawthorne parish land, with the permission of Fawley and Turton (churchwarden and overseer of Cawthorne), paying 4 pence p.a. rent. Bramainden grants the use of the house as a watch house, and allows fires to be made, if necessary. He also agrees not to lease the building to any one else, or use it for any other purpose than a shop, without permission, otherwise the bond to be void.
