Description: 4418. Leslie to Clinton. Has received another letter from Brigadier General Clarke at Savannah. On the 13th three large schooners and two sloops arrived in that river. They proceeded towards Beaulieu, returned and anchored at the bar, and hoisted French colours. Will send a reinforcement if necessary.
